United States Federal Circuit
Entegris, Inc. v. Pall Corp., 2004-1440, 2005-1265, 2005-1266, 2006-1374
In an action asserting infringement of certain patents by certain fluid filtering devices manufactured and sold by defendant, defendant's appeal from a ruling finding it in contempt for violating a preliminary injunction is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. However, a ruling dissolving the preliminary injunction is affirmed where the district court did not abuse its discretion in dissolving the preliminary injunction based upon the substantial question of invalidity of the asserted patents raised by defendant.
