Eldredge v. Dep't of the Interior, 05-3291

A decision of the Merit Systems Protection Board denying petitioner's request for firefighter retirement credit under the Federal Employees' Retirement System (FERS) is vacated where petitioner's temporary appointments were terminated before they expired and his separations were involuntary, and thus, he satisfied the regulatory requirements for firefighter retirement credit for his service for a certain period.
