Augustine v. Dep't of Veteran Affairs, 04-3162
The purposes of the fee-shifting statute in the Veterans Employment Opportunities Act can be served only by allowing attorneys' fees for representatives who are licensed as attorneys in any state or federal jurisdiction, without regard to the state licensing requirements of the state in which services were rendered.
