United States Federal Circuit

Callicrate v. Wadsworth Manufacturing, Inc., 04-1597, 04-1598

In a complex infringement case, substantial evidence did not support the jury's verdicts of non-infringement and invalidity of the Plaintiff's patents. Further, because the lower court improperly construed the prior art for the patents at issue, the jury verdict of anticipation and obviousness over an intervening patent was reversed.
