United States Federal Circuit

UNITHERM FOOD SYSTEMS, INC. ET AL v. SWIFT-ECKRICH, 03-1472

In a patent dispute case, the Court affirmed the district court's finding that US Patent No. 5,952,027 is invalid and unenforceable, and its decision to allow the jury to decide the issue of tortious interference; however, the Court reversed the district court's decision in allowing the jury to decide plaintiff's antitrust claims.
