United States Federal Circuit

FERGUSON BEAUREGARD v. MEGA SYS., LLC, 02-1380

In a patent infringement case concerning systems for petroleum production, the district court's evidentiary rulings are affirmed as there is no record that the district court abused it discretion in declining to allow defendant to offer up actions not described in the statute as sufficient notification; the district court did abuse its discretion in determining the amount of the damage award for plaintiff's infringement of the other patent.
