SCHUMER v. LAB. COMPUTER SYS., INC., 02-1100

In patent claims relating to computer peripherals that translate a user's hand motions or instructions into digital coordinates, 1) district court erred in construing the language of ten of the claims, 2) one claim was not shown to be invalid by clear and convincing evidence, and 3) a dependent claim was never separately addressed.
