United States DC Circuit

In re: Sealed Case, 02-3008

Denial of defendant's 28 U.S.C. section 2255 challenge to his sentence for distribution of cocaine base and carrying a pistol without a license is affirmed where, although a brief postsentencing conversation with counsel was insufficient to constitute an adequate consultation regarding his right to appeal, the section 2255 motion was properly denied because no nonfrivolous grounds for appeal existed.
