United States DC Circuit

U.S. v. Booker, 06-3030

Conviction based on guilty plea to possessing with intent to distribute marijuana is affirmed over defendant's claims that: 1) the district court erred in denying a motion to suppress evidence seized from his vehicle following his arrest for driving without a permit since both the traffic stop and the search of his vehicle violated the Fourth Amendment; and 2) his guilty plea lacked a sufficient factual basis.
