US v. Gwyn, 02-3104
Conviction for illegal firearm possession by a convicted felon is affirmed over claims that counsel provided ineffective assistance in failing to: 1) make the best available argument at a suppression hearing; 2) argue that police planted the firearm or that the gun introduced at trial was not the gun allegedly seized from defendant; 3) conduct a reasonable investigation; and 4) present a legally tenable defense.
