US v. West, 05-3070
A conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon is affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court's use of compound questions during voir dire denied defendant sufficient information to challenge prospective jurors for cause and impaired his ability to exercise his peremptory challenges intelligently; and 2) the district court erred in failing to suppress evidence of a gun found in his bag.
