United States DC Circuit

HANDY v. SHAW, BRANSFORD, VEILLEUX & ROTH, 01-7129

FRCP 13 did not require plaintiff to file her legal malpractice claim against a law firm in a lawsuit already pending in the District of Columbia Superior Court brought by the firm against plaintiff, to recover legal fees already owing, thus the district court erred in dismissing the claim.
