United States DC Circuit
US v. SESAY, 01-3100
The exclusion of evidence that defendant had a pre-existing civilian complaint against a police officer was not plain error. A statement from a police report that witnesses saw the victim, not defendant, with a gun was properly excluded as hearsay.
