United States DC Circuit
NED CHARTERING & TRADING, INC. v. REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, 01-7016
In an action against Pakistan for proceeds of wheat shipments under an assigned maritime contract, the court did not err in granting summary judgment against Pakistan without giving it an opportunity to take further discovery, where sufficient time to complete discovery had passed, and relevance to any defense was not shown.
