FED. ELECTION COMM'N v. NAT'L RIFLE ASS'N OF AM., 00-5163

The Federal Election Campaign Act, 2 USC 431-455, prohibits corporations from making contributions to federal elections campaigns, and they cannot avoid application of the Act by making contributions to non-profit organizations formed to promote the political views of members.
