Affirmed. Defendant’s Sixth Amendment rights were not violated when trial counsel failed to challenge his competency to waive counsel. Defendant’s due process right was not violated by state trial court’s refusal to hold a competency hearing sua sponte. Defendant’s Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights were not violated by being shackled and restrained during trial.
