Cox v. State of Washington, 15-35964
Reinstated grandparents' claims that Washington's Department of Social and Health Services negligently failed to ensure that their two grandchildren were not placed in an abusive situation. The two boys were murdered by their father during a social-worker-supervised visit. Reversed a grant of summary judgment and remanded for further proceedings on the grandparents' negligence claims.
