Cruz v. National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., 17-55441

Held that a ship repair worker who had collected workers' compensation from a staffing firm for her injuries could not bring a tort suit. She had sued the general contractor (a borrowing employer) that was performing repairs on a docked vessel. Affirmed summary judgment against her negligence claims, in a case involving the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
