Whalen v McMullen, 17-35267
Affirmed the district court's summary judgment in favor of police officer having qualified immunity. Plaintiff alleged that police officer violated her Fourth Amendment rights when he entered her home without a warrant and under a false pretense to investigate fraud related to social security benefits. The Ninth Circuit held that the officer had qualified immunity with respect to a civil or administrative investigation.
