United States Ninth Circuit
Lopez v. Sessions, 15-72747
Denied a petition for review in a case where the Board of Immigration Appeals held that the petitioner's conviction for possession for the sale of cocaine was an aggravated felony and was grounds for deportation despite its expungement. The lower court had also held that the petitioner was ineligible for a waiver and had denied him relief under the Convention Against Torture, because he could not demonstrate that he was subject to torture.
