United States Ninth Circuit
Alliance for the Wild Rockies v. Savage , 16-35589
Held that a wildlife conservation organization could continue litigating its challenge to a federal government land management project in a national forest. The wildlife organization sought to enjoin implementation of a project that contemplated logging, thinning, and road construction in areas of a national forest where two threatened species were present. Concluding that the district court erred in granting summary judgment for the government, the Ninth Circuit reversed in part and vacated in part and remanded.
