United States Ninth Circuit
Martinez-De Ryan v. Sessions, 15-70759
Affirmed an administrative decision which had ordered an undocumented immigrant's removal from the United States on finding that the immigrant committed a crime of moral turpitude. The crime involved a prior case where she had pleaded guilty to bribery for paying off a Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles official to issue fraudulent identification documents. On appeal, the immigrant contended that the meaning of moral turpitude in the statute was unconstitutionally vague, but the Ninth Circuit rejected her argument and denied her petition for review.
