Tamplin v. Muniz, 16-15832

Reversed. California state prisoner Dwight Tamplin Jr. was entitled to a writ of habeas corpus because his 25-years-to-life sentence imposed under California’s Three Strikes sentencing law was obtained in violation of his Sixth Amendment right under Faretta v. California, 422 U.S. 806 (1975).
