Asarco LLC v. United Steel, 16-16363
Affirmed. In this labor law case, the district court affirmed an arbitration award in favor of the union. The employer sought relief concerning a pension provision in the collective bargaining agreement. The employer argued that the arbitrator reformed the agreement in contravention of a no-add provision. The 9th Circuit concluded that the arbitrator acted within his authority.
