United States Ninth Circuit
Rodriguez v. County of Los Angeles, 13-56292
Affirming the district court's judgment in favor of plaintiffs following a jury trial relating to prisoner civil rights awarding compensatory and punitive damages as well as attorney fees to prisoners severely injured during cell extractions at the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail because they didn't clearly err in finding that a reasonable fear of retaliation made the grievance system effectively unavailable to the plaintiffs or by denying motions for qualified immunity.
