United States Ninth Circuit
Gordon v. County of Orange, 16-56005
Vacating the district court's summary judgment in an action alleging claims of inadequate medical care violating the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment in the case of the death of a man who was a pretrial detainee in the Orange County Men's Central Jail because new caselaw established that the proper standard of review in such actions is objective indifference rather than subjective indifference.
