United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Watson, 16-15357

Affirming the district court denials of motions challenging the validity of convictions for carrying firearms during a crime of violence, arguing that armed bank robbery no longer qualifies as a crime of violence, because robbery by force, violence, or intimidation is a crime of violence and armed robbery can't involve less force than unarmed bank robbery, which also qualifies as a crime of violence.
