United States Ninth Circuit

Breazeale v. Victim Services, Inc., 15-16549

Affirming the denial of arbitration to a plaintiff who got a notice relating to a bad check diversion program that elected to participate because, although the notice contained an arbitration clause, it was not a contract subject to the Federal Arbitration Act, and holding that the court lacked jurisdiction to review the district court's denial of the defendant's anti-SLAPP motion because such motions are not immediately appealable.
