United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Wells, 14-30146

Reversing and remanding for a new trial the case of a man convicted of multiple counts of murder and firearms offenses because of many irregularities at trial including government interference with the status of the defendant's representation, the use of criminal profile testimony as evidence of guilt, and prosecutorial misconduct, which tipped the scales of justice such as to render the trial fundamentally unfair.
