United States Ninth Circuit

Mahoney v. Sessions, 14-35970

Affirming the district court dismissal of an action based on their determination that the use of force policy adopted by the City of Seattle requiring police to use objectively reasonable force survived intermediate scrutiny and therefore was constitutional despite officer complaints that the policy violated the Second Amendment right of police officers to use firearms for the lawful purpose of self-defense.
