United States Ninth Circuit
Murray v. Southern Route Maratime SA, 14-36056
Affirming an award of damages to a longshoreman and his wife for injuries he suffered when electrocuted working on a ship in a case where the district court properly instructed the jury that the vessel owner owes the longshoreman a duty to keep equipment in reasonably safe condition and it was not an abuse of discretion to admit a scientific expert to describe his theory of electrical injury or admit medical experts' testimony.
