Affirming in part and vacating in part the summary judgment of the district court in favor of the defendants in an action under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in the case of a debt collector who filed a complaint in state court to collect unpaid credit card debt but overstated the principle due and interest rate, vacating the judgment as to the FDCPA claim, but affirming summary judgment on the Rosenthal Act claim on the ground that the debt collector corrected the misstatements within fifteen days of discovering the violation.
