United States Ninth Circuit
US v. Williams, 15-10008
The District Court's order granting a motion to suppress evidence of crack cocaine in the defendant’s pockets and the firearm in his vehicle is reversed where the court erred in concluding that the officers lacked reasonable suspicion to detain defendant, lacked probable cause to arrest defendant, unlawfully performed a search incident to arrest, and lacked probable cause to conduct a warrantless search of defendant's vehicle.
