United States Ninth Circuit

Ramirez-Munoz v. Lynch, 12-70870

In an immigration action, the petitions challenging the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) decision denying petitioners' motion to reopen their asylum applications, withholding of removal, and deferral of removal under the Convention Against Torture are denied where 'imputed wealthy Americans' are not a discrete class of persons recognized by society as a particular social group eligible for withholding of removal.
