United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Nickle, 14-30204

Conviction for conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance is vacated and remanded for a new trial where the district court abused its discretion in rejecting defendant's guilty plea under F.R. Criminal Pro. 11(b)(3) and in preventing the defendant from questioning three of the government's cooperating witnesses about their plea agreements.
