US v. Swisher, 11-35796
Conviction for unauthorized wearing of military medals in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 704(a) is reversed. The Court held that section 704(a) as applied to defendant's conduct violated the First Amendment under the same reasoning used in U.S. v. Alvarez, 132 S. Ct. 2537 (2012).
