Tohono O'odham Nation v. State of Arizona, 11-16811

In an action challenging Arizona's H.B. 2534, an act permitting cities to annex certain surrounding, unincorporated lands, the district court's grant of summary judgment to plaintiff is affirmed where the Arizona law is preempted by the federal Gila Bend Indian Reservation Lands Replacement Act, Pub. L. No. 99-503, 100 Stat. 1798 (1986).
