Bikram's Yoga College of India v. Evolation Yoga, 13-55763
In a copyright infringement action brought by plaintiffs asserting copyright protection for the twenty-six step Bikram Yoga sequence, the district court's grant of partial summary judgment to defendant is affirmed and the court held that the Bikram Yoga Sequence is an unprotected idea and not copyrightable under the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. section 102(b).
