United States Ninth Circuit
Pollinator Stewardship Council v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 13-72346
In an action challenging the EPA's unconditional registration of sulfoxaflor, the agency's action is vacated and remanded for further studies and data regarding the effects of sulfoxaflor on bees, as required by EPA regulations, where given the precariousness of bee populations, leaving the EPA's registration of sulfoxaflor in place risked more potential environmental harm than vacating it.
