United States Ninth Circuit

Brown-Hunter v. Colvin, 13-15213

In an application for Social Security disability benefits, the district court's judgment affirming the ALJ's denial of the application is vacated where: 1) the ALJ, who found generally that the claimant’s testimony was not credible, erred by failing to identify which part of the claimant's testimony was not credible and why; and 2) an ALJ does not provide the specific, clear, and convincing reasons for rejecting a claimant's testimony by simply reciting the medical evidence in support of his or her residual functional capacity determination.
