United States Ninth Circuit

Wildearth Guardians v. US Dep't of Agric., 13-16071

In an action alleging violations of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), seeking to enjoin the federal government's participation in the killing of predatory animals in Nevada, the district court's dismissal for lack of standing is reversed where the injuries alleged were concrete enough and were sufficiently causally related to the government's failure to update the programmatic environmental impact statement (PEIS) to support plaintiff's standing for those claims.
