US v. Goldtooth, 12-10570
Convictions on two counts of aiding and abetting robbery on the Navajo Nation, in violation of 18 U.S.C. sections 2111, 1153 and 2 are reversed where: 1) no rational juror could have found that the defendants had the requisite advance knowledge that the robbery was about to occur; and 2) a rational juror could not conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendants had intended to rob two people.
