In an action by a student with an existing special education placement under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the "stay put" provision that entitles the student to remain in that placement until his case is resolved, pursuant to 20 U.S.C. section 1415(j), does apply to a student who has exceeded a state imposed age limit on eligibility for public education.
