Natural Resources Defense Council v. County of Los Angeles, 10-56017
On remand from the United States Supreme Court, the district court's grant of summary judgment for defendants is reversed and remanded, where pollution exceedances detected at county defendants' monitoring stations were sufficient to establish the county defendants' liability as a matter of law for violations of the terms of their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit issued pursuant to the Clean Water Act.
