United States Ninth Circuit

US v. Stone, 11-10618

Conviction for being a felon in possession of ammunition in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 922(g)(1), is affirmed, where the Supreme Court's decision in Flores-Figueroa v. United States, 556 U.S. 646 (2009), did not disturb this court's existing precedent that the government need not prove that a defendant knew the firearm or ammunition had traveled in interstate commerce in order to obtain a conviction under the statute.
