United States Ninth Circuit
U.S. Aviation Underwriters, Inc. v. Nabtesco Corp., 11-35440
In a subrogation claim against an aircraft parts manufacturer, district court's judgment in favor of the manufacturer is affirmed where the statute of repose set forth in the General Aviation Revitalization Act of 1994 began to run from the date that the component part, along with the aircraft in which it was installed originally, was delivered to its first purchaser, and not the delivery date of the aircraft that experienced the accident.
