US v. Mattix, 12-30013
Defendant's conviction for failure to register as a sex offender in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 2250(a), is affirmed where: 1) defendant's appeal is controlled by US v. Valverde; and 2) the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act applied retroactively to defendant at the time he failed to register as a sex offender.
