United States Ninth Circuit
Chaudhry v. Astrue, 11-35072
In an action for social security benefits, the district court's grant of summary judgment in favor of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration is affirmed, as the ALJ conducted a full and fair hearing in light of the fact that the record contained evidence of the VA disability rating and discussed the extent of the disability suggested by that rating in the decision. Further, the ALJ also properly documented his analysis of petitioner's alleged psychiatric impairments and his analysis was supported by the record, as was the ALJ's interpretation of the medical evidence and the credibility determination.
