Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Indian Nation v. Gregoire, 10-35776
In an appeal from a judgment of the district court granting defendants summary judgment in an action challenging the State of Washington's cigarette excise tax, Revised Code of Washington sections 82.24 et seq., as an encroachment on Indian tax immunity, judgment is affirmed where the provisions of the statute are not materially different from those upheld in Colville and do not contravene established principles of Indian tax immunity.
