United States Ninth Circuit

Fiore v. Walden, 08-17558

In an appeal from a judgment of the district court dismissing plaintiff's Bivens action for lack of personal jurisdiction, judgment is reversed where defendant's intentional acts with regard to the false probable cause affidavit and the consequent delay in returning plaintiff's seized money were expressly aimed at forum state and so satisfy the requirements for personal jurisdiction.
